Rotating an elevator model

We have simplified the rotation of an elevator model created with DigiPara^® Elevatorarchitect. You can now rotate the elevator to a defined angle.

Step 1: select the elevator's coordinate plane

Choose a plan view (e. g. Floor Plans, Level 1) in Autodesk^® Revit^® and select the elevator's coordinate plane.

Step 2: rotate

Choose the rotate function in Autodesk Revit and click one of the coordinate plane arrows.
 

Step 3: define the angle

Please pull out the angle. You can define it by clicking on another specific point or by entering a specific number via the keyboard.

 

Step 4: update in Autodesk Revit

Please click the button Create or update in Revit in the Add-Ins tab. The elevator will be updated to the specified rotation.
