We are happy to announce an enhanced DigiPara^® Liftdesigner version that works with the 3D mechanical design software Autodesk^® Inventor^®.

DigiPara Liftdesigner for Autodesk Inventor is especially designed for the R&D department, so elevator companies can

• quickly develop new elevator configurations
• reduce development time and costs by standardizing the elevator design process
• limit lost data by working with the same program, in the R&D, sales and order processing department

DigiPara Liftdesigner is a sophisticated Intelligent Elevator Configurator, which consists of predefined elevator parameters, component structure and elevator logic. It combines all the important elevator information, which removes the elevator company’s need for developing their own solutions. The centralized data management limits lost data across departments and allows engineers to easily maintain, reuse and distribute products to colleagues, partners and clients.

With a large Manufacturer Library of more than 65 suppliers, it allows elevator companies to simply assemble an elevator by selecting supplier components. By making the own components public, elevator companies can share and promote new products to other DigiPara Liftdesigner users.

The integrated Cabin Configurator helps engineers to configure the main cabin characteristics (mirrors, handrails, flooring, wall panels, etc.) to create cabin approval and installation drawings.

Do You need BIM ?

Recently we got several queries with regards to BIM – Building Information Management.
Several of our elevator companies are requested to deliver 3D data to enable architects and other of their clients to bring the elevator into the building model. Even one of the most important targets is the building illustration, it also allows to check the elevator against the planned building. It allows checking for interferences and proper connections to the building.
 
We recently released a new module that allows exporting of the elevator into the widely used 3D format SAT and STEP.
